HERBERT GEORGE McKINNEY

Funeral services were held for Herbert McKinney on 1st August at St Mark's Baptist Church, Crossing Rocks. Officiating were Rev Mervin Burrows and Elder Lernis Cornish.

Mr McKinney is survived by his parents, Glenn and Dorothy McKinney; three brothers, Gary, Shane and Shawn; four sisters, Merlie Wilmore Maydon, Wendy and Verniece McKinney; grandmothers Merline McKinney and Menvella Walker; and a host of other relatives and friends.

CLIFFORD WHITMORE BAIN

Funeral services for Clifford Bain of Crossing Rocks were held on 1st August at Kemp Road Union Baptist Church, Nassau. Officiating was Pastor Ivan Butler.

Mr Bain is survived by his wife, Rowena; six sons, Peter, Kevin, Clifford, Anthro, Rashed and Carl; two daughters, Abigail and Elsie; five grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

JERMAINE TITO JAMESON DELANCY

Funeral services for Jermaine Delancy, 18, of Spring City were held at Friendship Tabernacle Church, Dundas Town, on 8th August. Pastor Kenneth Knowles officiated, assisted by Rev Copeland Morley and Roland Swain. Interment was in Marsh Harbour Public Cemetery.

Jermaine is survived by his parents, Roger and Norma Delancy; four brothers, Kiko, Kondell, Jerann and Jerard; one sister, Rogette; grandparents, Borris Delancy, Alden Jolly, Virginia Russell, Mavis McQueen and Louise Jolly; and many other relatives and friends.

Jermaine Delancy was a 1997 graduate of Abaco Central Secondary School and had been a student at Bahamas Baptist Community College in Nassau during the past year.

CLARENCE ALFRED NORTH

Funeral services for Clarence North, 27, of Spring City were held on Sunday 9th August at St John the Baptist Anglican Church in Marsh Harbour. Officiating was Fr Santosh Marray. Interment was in Marsh Harbour Public Cemetery.

Mr North had been pre-deceased by his mother, Mary Bain, and died in the same accident as his grandmother, Sambrieanna Mayes. He is survived by his son, Clarence Jr; father, Frederick North; four sisters, LeShawn, Tanya, Terrell and Darrell; three brothers, Masanetie, Lenardo and Levardo; and many other relatives and friends.

Mr North was a graduate of Abaco Central Secondary School and was employed as a technician at BaTelCo.

SAMBRIEANNA MAYES

Funeral services for Sambrieanna Mayes, 62, of Spring City, were held at St Barnabus Anglican Church, Nassau, on 15th August. Officiating was the Venerable Cornell Moss. Interment was in Western Cemetery.

Mrs Mayes is survived by her daughter, Sharon; two brothers, Edwin and Charles Clarke; eight grandchildren, Kikie Williams, Marcia Mackey, Ingrid Hollis, Carlieanna Cox, LaShawn Joseph, Masanetie Joseph and Tanya Joseph; fourteen great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
