The crowds who arrived for the opening of lobster season are slowly vanishing into the mist from whence they came. Although tourists are still in evidence homeowners may have the ascendancy. Most of the Royal Palm folks I reported as being here last month are here still. We are pleased to inform you of a new owner, Joyce Green, who hails from Nassau. Joyce is now renovating 2401 and although presently working with Standard Hardware, plans to retire in Treasure Cay. Welcome, Joyce! This means, of course that we must say farewell to Fabrizio and Paola Ghersel who have returned to Padua. They will be missed.

The Campi clan has been enlarged by the presence of Augostino and Flavia who arrived with Mattia and new baby, Claudia, named after her Grandma. Daniel Kaplan and family arrived for a two week stay as did Director Hagen Peters and Peggy. Freda and David Janney are in residence with children and grandchildren.ÊOur son, Eric and Celia Sutherland have set up housekeeping in our beach house with our grandchildren, Guy, Sarah, Jessica and Tace who have found great joy in their new dinghy.ÊAn inflatable surely opens up a new world of exploration.

Woody and I leave for four months in Australia soon so if anyone wishes to step up with an offer to write about Royal Palm happenings I'm sure our Editor, Jack Hardy, would be appreciative. Just drop him a line at journal@oii.net. Until 2004 we wish you good health and calm weather.
