ROYAL PALM FRONDS
by Betsy Bracey

Spring break and Easter holiday week created a festive atmosphere on the Royal Palm 'campus'. So many owners arrived, and those who didn't all seemed to have guests. With scarcely a vacancy in 86 condominiums, you can well imagine the good times.

On several Friday evenings we celebrated our owners' arrivals with a party on The Deck. We were joined from all corners of Treasure Cay, which added to the pleasure. One Sunday afternoon Jack Hardy, the editor of the Abaco Journal, hosted a brunch for those in our neighbourhood who share their writing talent reporting Treasure Cay special events and the daily life of our community. It was fun and the food was delicious! These articles are especially enjoyed by those who are away and we thank each and every one of you for your fine efforts.

On another evening Kathleen and Bill Draper's house, Father Jerry, celebrated a mass in honour of the Easter season. In this beautiful setting, it was a particular joy - very well attended and very much appreciated. Father Jim and Father Jerry are annual guests, so hopefully this will become an annual event.

Our community life is certainly alive and well and we hope to see YOU during the summer season, which will be in full swing by the time this reaches your mailbox.
