Over 100 Treasure Cay homeowners, many of whom live in Royal Palm, attended
an A Capella Concert given on January 28th by a group of 12 young men and women
from Princeton University who were invited to Treasure Cay by Sinclair
Frederick and were hosted by Carolina Stern, Peg Larder, Helen Shelley and
Cynthia Vernal in a lovely garden setting on a beautiful moonlit evening.
The young people sang a medley of tunes both modern and traditional. Two of
the audience favourites were Star Spangled Banner and America the Beautiful
which struck an appropriate chord with all. The group sang at Nippers in
Guana on the 27th and were transported to Treasure Cay by Denny Parker and
hosted by a variety of homeowners throughout our community. It was a lovely
evening, enhanced by wine and cheese and perfect weather. We are all
grateful to those who worked hard to arrange this lovely touch of culture to
enrich our out island lifestyle.
The Royal Palm Deck has been host to several parties recently which are now
enhanced by the availability of a living room in case of inclement weather.
Please register your dates with the Royal Palm office and take advantage of
this unique opportunity to host many friends conveniently.
