WALTER MARVIN LIGHTBOURN

Funeral services for Walter Lightbourne Jr, 32, were held at Mount Zion Baptist Church, Sandy Point, on 12th May. Officiating was Rev Michael Symonette, assisted by Rev Napoleon Roberts, Pastor Rudolph Roberts, Pastor Erskine Wells and Father Hugh Chapman.

He is survived by his parents, Walter Sr and Naomi Lightbourn; four brothers, Lunsworth, Gerard, David and Johnathan; eight sisters, Rubliee Lightbourn, Ethel Rolle, Nichola Charlton; Glacie Gaitor, Julieth Deal-Laroda, Marilyn Lightbourn, Viviam Butler and Bridgette Jenkins; eighteen nieces; eight n host of other relatives and friends.

GENE TYRONE COLLINS

Funeral services for Gene Tyrone Collins of Marsh Harbour were held at Marsh Harbour Gospel Chapel on 19th May. Officiating were Pastor David Cartwright, Bro Gurth Roberts, Bro Robin Weatherford and Bro Robert Cornea. Interment was in the Marsh Harbour Public Cemetery.

Gene is survived by his wife, Ruth; children William, Tyrone and Vanessa; two brothers, Dave and Jeff; four sisters, Ludean Thompson, Linda Bethel, Norma Collins and Myrna Weatherford; and many other relatives and friends.

Gene was employed at the Western Auto store in Marsh Harbour for many years and later at the Western Auto Parts store.

LYNDALL ANNETTE ALBURY

Funeral services for Lyndall Annette Albury, 86, were held at A B Apostolic Church, Marsh Harbour, on 18th May. Officiating at the church was Bro Phillip Albury, while Bro Gurth Roberts officiated at graveside in Marsh Harbour Public Cemetery.

Lyndall Annette Albury was born to John and Ellen Sawyer on 24th March 1915. She met and married Mertland Frederick Albury in the mid thirties. Their union was blessed with two children, Marshall Albury and Karen Dam. She accepted the Lord at an early age and spent the rest of her life serving the Lord.

She is survived by two children, Marshall Albury and Karen Dam; one daughter in law, Christine Albury; one son in law, Johan Dam; Eight grandchildren, Dianne, Ricky, Cherylann, Kirk, Maryanne, Jonathan, Johan and Jihan; seven great-grandchildren, Adrian, Mitch, Dale, Adam, Drew, Carlos and Shania; one brother, Charles Sawyer; two sisters in law, Mary Sawyer and Flossie Albury; and many other nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
