CHILLY IN MAY?
The end of April and beginning of May brought three weeks of unseasonable cool and windy weather, emanating from several different weather systems. At one point New York City recorded 91 degrees while Abaco was some 15 degrees cooler. Old timers said they had never known weather like it at that time of year.
By the second week of May things were back to normal with everyone complaining about how hot it was.
