ATLANTIS CHIT-CHAT
by Jean Buchanan

Spring was a busy time in Atlantis. Bob and Gerry Giles, Jim and Joanne Friedrich and the new grandparents Ann and Rick Woodson were the occupants in Building #1.

In Building #2, Len and Jan Scheponick were here for several months, as were Jean and Phil Read. Picci and Henning Haus managed to get in two weeks of boating. Marlene and Chuck Bragg were here from Massachusetts and Pat Bell came from Canada for two weeks. She is in our prayers, as is Bill Marshall. We miss Barbara and Bill Marshall.

Sally and Phil were in Building #3 all winter, and Rudi and Gina Bender were here for some R & R. They are busy with their restaurant in Aspen. Marion Achter and Maureen Baldus spent quite a bit of time here but have now returned to Germany. Our permanent resident Raymond Pearlson goes fishing on the calmer days.

Karl and Christal Conrad were here from Boulder, Colorado. Karl would love to spend more time here and said he is working on it. Bob Kelp spent several weeks here, while Tom and Linda Eisenbraun managed to squeak in ten days before returning to Ohio. Steve Aebersold was here for two weeks. Steve is a well known ice hockey played in Switzerland. Renzo and Elsbeth Siren were also here for a couple of months from Switzerland. Elsbeth has a lovely herb garden.

We were happy to see Jochen and Con Rung with son Justin. Justin had so many pool toys there was hardly room for him in the pool! My twin grandsons were totally entranced with Justin. Bob and Cheryl Finkelstein were here for almost a week. Normally they just manage long weekends.

I was delighted that our daughter Kimberly and family were able to come from Vermont. It is quite a change to come to the sunshine. The twins think the beach is one huge sand box and said they like the sand better than the snow. I certainly agree with that. Judy Beck once again let them use her little red wagon.

We all agree there is no place like Treasure Cay. We have wonderful, friendly people and lots of activities to keep us busy. Time just flies and before we know it it's time to head home. We hope everyone has a healthy, happy summer. See you next season by our beautiful new pool!
