Funeral services for Sherlock Duncan Young Russell, 77, were held on 22nd May at St James Methodist Town, Hope Town. Officiating were Vernon Malone and Patrick Bethel. Interment was made at Upper Cemetery, Hope Town.
He is survived by his wife, Susan; sons, Duncan, Peter and Glen; daughters, Olga, Linda, Karen and Ruth (predeceased by Joan); sons in law, Willie and Howard; daughters in law, Helen and Danielle; grandchildren, Justin, Andrew, William, Dean, Nancy, Yvette, Sharmon, Maryann and Carmella; great-grandchildren, Eric, Stephen, Christopher, Tristan, Drew, Tracey, Kyle, Angelia, Kaylyn, Paige, Aisha, Dana and Justine; and a host of other relatives and friends.
GEORGE MICHAEL MIKULA-KNOWLES
Funeral services for George Michael Mikula-Knowles, 50, of Treasure Cay were held on 24th May at Full Gospel Assembly, Treasure Cay. Rev Stafford Symonette officiated, assisted by Pastor Cecil Forbes and Rev Kay Albury.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Mikula-Knowles; four sons, Mikus Mikula-Knowles, Ricardo Knowles, Willis and Dedric Russell; five daughters, Shanda Campbell, Michelle and Cutelle Mikula-Knowles; Katherine and Romana Russell; one stepson, Clark Jones; parents, Bernice and Dolly Nicholson; two sisters; one brother; six grandchildren, Rayshann and Rayvonne Campbell, Mikarah Mikula-Knowles, Michelle and Miguel Nicholson, Chrishantie Edgecombe and Brianna Russell; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr Mikula, a retired schoolteacher, owned two businesses in Treasure Cay: G & M Variety Store and Kulas.
RUBY MILLS
Funeral services for Ruby Mills, 67, of Fox Town were held at End Time Harvest Church, Crown Haven on 24th May. Officiating was Bishop Tyrone Mills. Interment followed in the Anglican Church Cemetery, Fox Town.
She is survived by her husband, Elijah; five sons, Tyrone, Lionel, Elijah Jr, Stephen and Earlyn; one adopted son, Deon Williams; three daughters, Valderine Mills, Vernetta Curry and Jennie McIntosh; 36 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
CLIFFORD McINTOSH
Funeral services for Clifford McIntosh Sr, 77, of Coopers Town were held on 25th May at Revival Time Pentecostal Church, Coopers Town. Officiating was Bishop Henry Wright, assisted by Rev Burnell Parker. Interment was made in South Side Cemetery, Coopers Town.
He is survived by his wife, Delphine Reckley-McIntosh; five sons, Dwight, Hiram, Clifford Jr, Daron and Hansel McIntosh; eight daughters, Shirley Jackson, Margaret McDonald, Lynn Edgecombe, Carolee Lightbourne, Myrtle, Learlean, Inez and Annica McIntosh; 20 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
CUBAL HAROLD DAVIS
Funeral services for Deacon Cubal Harold Davis, 68, were held at Zion Baptist Church, Murphy Town, on 25th May. Rev Alphonso Lewis Sr officiated, assisted by Rev Chris Dean. Interment was made in Murphy Town Public Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Vernell Davis; five children, Brenda Roberts, Billy Davis, Dudley Davis, Cubal Star Davis and Tamara McIntosh; ten grandchildren, Andrian, Felicia, Jovon, Jovoncia, Britnae, Brandon, Brenton, Dudley Jr, Renaldo Davis and Tamashia McIntosh; three great-grandchildren, Adrain Jr, Javon Jr and Javona Davis; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr Davis served as senior deacon to Zion Baptist Church for 35 years and was active in both church and community.
