SAMUEL DEWITT LOWE
Funeral services for Samuel Dewitt Lowe, 86, were held on 8th July at St James Methodist Church, Hope Town. Officiating were Rev Carla Culmer, Vernon Malone and Ricky Sweeting. Interment followed at Upper Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mariah Lowe; six daughters, Marina Dekle, Annette Kourvaras, Belle Albury, Kathy Whiting, Darnelle Stratton and Clara Stratton; sons-in-law, John Kourvaras, Barry Whiting, Floyd Albury, Keith Stratton and Andy Stratton; eight grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
HERBERT MILTON CALMA
Funeral services for Herbert Milton Calma, 75, of Murphy Town were held at St Georges Anglican Church, Nassau, on 11th July. Fr G Kingsley Knowles officiated and interment followed in Old Trail Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Doris; four daughters, Thelma Calma, Sheila, Temeika and Nichole Fox; three sons, Herbert Jr, Charles and Andrew; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
