ABACO'S BICYCLE MECHANIC IS CERTIFIED
Although he has been repairing bicycles for over 17 years, Huel Moss Jr, bicycle mechanic at Roadrunners Bicycle Store in Dundas Town, finally has the certification to support his experience. Huel received his Bicycle Mechanics Diploma, with highest honours, in January of this year from the Stratford C eight month course covered suck topics as fitting bicycle to the rider, basic repair procedure, the multi-sprocket drive train, servicing freewheels and derailleurs, servicing coaster hubs, overhauling three-speed hubs, servicing cranks, bottom brackets, wheel building and wheel repair, and much more. Huel now feels he is better equipped and qualified to service the more high quality and high tech bicycles we are seeing more and more of on Abaco.
You never stop learning. The more informed and knowledgeable you are the better job you are able to do to please your customer. A pleased and satisfied customer is the bottom line. Huel worked at the Great Abaco Triathlon last year helping to assemble and disassemble dozens of very expensive, high tech bicycles.
Roadrunners Bicycle Store, which Huel operates along with his wife, is located next to Long Bay School on Forest Drive in Dundas Town. It is fully stocked with all types of bicycles, parts, accessories, and of course, a complete service department.
