Well, boys and girls, after 16 days in paradise, I don't EVEN know where to
begin a trip report. It may not even be possible without taking up an entire
hard drive on Sinclairs server. But to begin with, it probably goes without
saying - WOW!!!.

Thanks to this Board that Sinclair maintains for us, I was able to attend three
Board Meetings and met some our regular Board members. Sunday, 6/13, at Nippers
and then on down the beach to a new place called Coco Paradise, we met up with
Janet & David and the Flying Dogs (Josh & Bubba). CArolina Kahuna and his lovely
bride Laura we're also there. We really enjoyed a few hours there at Coco Paradise
taking in as many Kalik Golds as Randy (bartender) could open. Kinda funny though,
Randy is a part owner of Nippers - guess he doen't like the Sunday crowds there
either!

The next Board Meeting was at Yahoes(Sat - 6/19). My group, (myself & AbacoMary
along with my four children and a boyfriend, met Jim G and Tammy. Tim provided
some great music along with some superb bahamian kwizene. There was ONE
exception though, and what an embarassment to Jim - Tammy decided on a HOT DOG
w/fries. Her only saving was that she did partake in some of Tim's Grouper or
conch. A real treat for us was that Sinclair road in my boat from Treasure to
Yahoes @ Lubber's Qtrs. We did discover a hole in Sinclair's cooler upon arival
at Yahoes and to make matters worse, a hermit crab had opened all of his Kalik
and let is all drain out of
the hole in the cooler - poor Sinclair. But, that's his story and he's stickin'
to it! Afterwards, we took the picture that Sinclair has posted. This time using
JimG's Digital Sony camera. Tammy,JimG,Barbara,Will,Daniel,Rica,Cory,AW,Monica,
AbacoMary and then in front Tim, Sinclair. Sinclair's friend, Barbara, joined us in
her boat soon after our arrival at Yahoes. Later Sinclair led us all on a boating
and snorkelling expedition which we all enjoyed. We returned to Treasure Cay
around 6:30pm.

Sunday, 6/20, we who attended the 3rd Board Meeting, definitely wanted to be there
as we endured 3-4 foot waves w/whitecaps to get there. Soon after our on-time
arrival, we discovered that Jim and Tammy had ventured up from Lubbers in a 17'
boat. Tammy captained their boat while Jim probably took up watch from behind
no doubt - I'm sure they both had a great view. After a while some other couple
showed and very proudly announced to Tom (co-owner of the Coco Paradise) that
he was here for the Board Meeting. We overheard there names - nonother than the
infamous Bob and Marolyn!! They too had ventured from afar in a raging Sea of
Abaco. After ejoying a couple hours of conversatio, fishing stories, BS and just
plain good 'ol fellowship, a monsoon of a storm came up. We endured that for
nearly an hour. We discoverd a leak in Tom's newly built shed - his shingles
were still in the wrappers "over there". We had some of the best hamburgers
ever cooked. Soon, the storm passed. After weathering this monsoon along with
several waterspouts (that Bob and JimG fended off with some sort of chant
and a topless beer run by Bob, that I'll not go there on) we were all in agreement
that we should take a run for it with the apparent break in the weather.

For all those attending the mettings, there were AbacoWilly Summer Tour '99
t-shirts.

On my last evening there, Friday 6/25, we were minding our own business in
our condo and cooking dinner when a rather obnoxious knock came at our door.
Upon opening, we are in awe to see noneother that Sinclair and his lovely
friend Barbara. They are going on a criuise of the Sea of Abaco after dark and
we are invited. Well, clearly we accepted. SO, the four of us board and off we go.
After some absolutely beautiful views of the lighted shorelines and outlines
of unlit cays, we returned. We had an exciting docking performance by Barbara
with a little help from me and ZIPPO from Sinclair and AbacoMary (thanks goodness).
We were docked around 10:30pm and decided to go to the Tipsy Bar for a little
dancing, a nightcap and then call it a day.

As for the other days, we did what everyone else does - relaxed, fished, beached,
got up at 5 to watch the sunrise, spent a day with Linc Jones, swim, snorkel, etc.
What can I say - as you all know, it is truly beyond description!

I did enjoy spending time with Sinclair and Barbara. They are some really nice folks
who are quite hospitable. When I went to Sinclair's home back on Saturday the 19th
before we went to Nippers, instead of offering coffee, I was offered a Kalik!
What I guy - and did NOT want to be rude, so......

I think that a group of Board members (Janet&David/FD's, JimG&Tammy,Bob&Marolyn)
went to Wally's Restraunt in Marsh Harbor Wednesday. We just were to tired to go
but I hope they had fun. I think they were to meet at Garden Cay, where J&D were
staying beforehand. Hopefully they'll tell how that went.

To conclude this posting, I want to say to those board members who participated,
I and AbacoMary absolutely enjoyed meeting and getting to know you. We always
enjoy our trips to the Abaco's but our time together was very special and
one we'll not forget. JimG and Tammy will return to Park City and start flying
again, Bob and Marolyn will go back keeping law and order and hopefully keeping
Bob's shirt on so it's not so obvious that he is cold, and Janet&David will
return homewith those dogs that fly - it was a pleasure Josh&Bubba!!

Last but not least, my thanks to Sinclair for his hospitality there and here on the
Board. Enjoy the BBQ sauce!

Abacowilly @ AbacoMary - sadly, back to 16 and back to SC......

Oh, I still had a $100 travelers check when I got home...how cool is that!!
