This past Saturday, we had volunteers from our community, who worked on the bulk head out in front of Milo's shop. The men spent nearly all their day off, working in the hot sun. They could have gone fishing, but, thankfully, chose to spend their time to help restore the beauty of the waterfront. In the next few weeks, the fill will be added and we can begin our planting. A park bench, palm trees and many flowering bushes will be added. Guana Cay is one of the loves of my life...I have been here now, for over four years...and each year it grows dearer to my heart. My renters often ask...could you ever come back to the states to live..and my constant answer is...no...I love the peace and quiet, the people who live here and the ocean is dearest to my heart with the sea life. Going diving, snorkeling, fishing and boating is what life is about here. Enjoying fantastic sunsets. Walking down to the dock in the evening after supper..Just to try to catch one of those two foot snappers... Cheryl
