Bonefishing with JR

My friend Mark Wagner and I would highly recommend JR as a bonefishing guide for flyfisherman. We fished the Marls with JR for one day last week. We were in the Abacos for a vacation with our families and had one day to devote to fly fishing. It was a cloudy and windy day, with some rain in the early morning, and we did not expect much. We ended up with 34 bonefish caught between us and over 50 fish hooked. JR has been guiding for about 30 years, is knowledgeable and is devoted to providing good service. He has a nicely equipped boat and keeps it on a trailer so he can fish either the Marls or Cherokee.
