Depends where you are coming from. Agree with other postings, we always come on the bank a few miles north of Memory Rock from either St. Lucie or Ft. Pierce.

Crossed a week or so ago; there was some shoaling working its way further in a few miles beyond Sale Cay Rocks; looked like fish muds until getting right up closethen you can see it breaking on the bars even at half tide. Need to stay to the right but can't go to far to the south because of the heads around Veteran's Rock. Beyond that no problem except for going around Whale.
