Accommodations on Elbow Cay-2001

We vacationed last year on Lubbers and this year on Guana. We absolutely fell in love with both of these Cays, each for different reasons. Next year we would like to stay on Elbow Cay, (We wouldn't think of vacationing anywhere else but the Abacos). I would greatly appreciate any suggestions that anyone can give us as to where to stay. We were thinking of down by Tahiti Beach and then renting a golf cart to get to Hope Town or maybe somewhere in between. Is that area still passable with a Golf Cart. We are probably leaning toward staying in a cottage instead of a resort. All suggestions will be very welcome.
