Lynn, you're right on the money. Some things will be different from what you may have come to expect or to have pictured in your mind--some better, some worse, some just different. But attitude is everything, and in the grand scheme of things you learn to recognize not to "sweat the small stuff," (like a flight delay, or uncooperative weather), and that most of it is "small stuff." Like when we kept having trouble with our running water. We had plenty of bottled water to drink, and plenty of seawater (we carried up the sand dune!) to flush toilets and wash dishes, and our cottage owner did his best to get someone to work on the plumbing once he knew about the problem. If you're the same "Lynn" who'll have just got done with your daughter's wedding, you'll probably be so happy to have that event over (a joyous occasion, but nonetheless potentially stressful when anticipating all the things that could go wrong, egos bruised, etc), that simply being in Abaco will be enough.
