My husband thinks the water temp. was about 70. It was refreshing and felt cool when you jumped in but once in was very comfortable and you could stay in forever. In Maine in August our water temp. doesn't get above 65 so this was great. In fact one day it was a bit choppy and the waves were splashing up over the bow. We were ready for cold water to hit us and was so surprised to feel warm ocean spray.
