If you want to start your vacation out on the right foot, you must stay at Compass Point (www.islandoutpost.com). We have stayed there twice and loved it. It's close to airport (5-10min). Very small place with bright colored cottages (really cool interiors with batik and wood, each cottage has a deck overlooking the ocean) right on beach, hoppin restaurant and bar (the food is excellent) Look into staying in acabana, they are the cheapest rooms they have). Believe me, you won't be sorry you stayed for one night and you may want to go back. The place has been featured on TV commericals. Let me know how you do.
