Stuck in Nassau for one night. Help!

Origninally my girlfiend and I were scheduled to go to Nassau for the entire vacation. After reading this board a little it was easy to see that the Abacos were for us. To make a long story short, we arive in Nassau around 9:20 p.m. Our flight via Bahamas Air leaves for Marsh Harbor the next morning at 9:00 a.m. I am new to the Bahamas and need help trying to figure out what our best option is for the layover. Should we try and find relatively inexpensive accomodations near the airport? Try and sleep at the airport? Go to the Cable Beach casinos and forget sleeping? How much would the cab ride be for two people? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much for your help. 14 days away! CC
