The CoCoa Bar is getting a facelift! A big one!! They have taken down the old bar and relocated a temp bar just next to where the old one stood. The new bar was just finished being roofed last week when I was there-it looks like it will be similar to the Tipsy bar at the marina-same size!! Chris is the gentleman who runs the bar. Dimitrius is his right hand man-you may remember them. They in fact have plans to bring back all the water sport stuff too.

the beach is also getting a facelift-they just used some heavy equipment to get rid of all the old overgrown bush-i haven't seen the beach this big in over 10 years!!!! They will eb building new huts on the beach as well for shade

Mark carroll no longer owns the boating business at the dock-it was just taken over by Rich's Rentals. I did hear that he may still be doing excursions????

I always fly gulfstream-never have a problem. they did hit a rough spot right after the hurricane, but all is back to normal-only 1 flight each day in and out form miami or ft lauderdale. they use the 20 seaters. air sunshine is good too, but they use the small props

if you go-make sure to eat at Hudson's. It's great food and inexpensive compared to the rest down there!! great apple turnovers.
